Covid stole Barbados from us – we’re taking it back.  All Inclusive and all fun – details will be announced soon!

“Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates.”

Pirates & Paradise Raid Fort James in Antigua
Byrda & Red

-Conceived in 2013 by Byrda Paradise (Louise Deck)  Pirates & Paradise was born from the desire not only to travel – but to take a group of like minded people (i.e. people who like to have fun) to delightful tropical locations – to lay on the beach – to drink rum – to visit historic places – to meet new people – to ENJOY!

This is more than a vacation. It’s a mind set – it starts with the desire to have fun! Stir in a little pirate, some rum, great destinations and it’s a magical combination of fun and camaraderie you will thoroughly enjoy! No drama all RUM… I mean FUN!!! (it just may be a lot of both !)

We have enjoyed so many great destinations:

  • 2014 – Montego Bay, Jamaica at Sandals
  • 2015 – OchoRios, Jamaica at Sandals
  • 2016 – Anigua at the Grand Pineapple
  • 2017 – Sailing on the Star Flyer “Treasure Islands”
  • 2018 – St. Lucia at Coconut Bay
  • 2019 – Sailed again on board the Star Flyer,Venice – Croatia – Montenegro & Slovenia

Sadly the  Barbados 2020 adventure was derailed due to the Covid-19 situation.  But fear not, we will be back and it will be better than ever!

  • 2021 was a year off as Byrda & Gunner planned and took a 35 day cross country motorcycle adventure.
  • 2022 was also a paused year to prepare for our return adventure!
  • 2023 – Costa Rica at the 5 Star Boutique Resort The Gaia Hotel & Reserve

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.

So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Explore. Dream. Discover.”
